Doorfront Direct expands in Midwest markets

Posted

Evergreen, Colorado – Doorfront Direct, the nation’s largest independent magazine and catalog delivery network, announced this week that it has opened several new Midwest markets.

“We’ve added five new markets in the Midwest during the past few weeks,” said Randall Brant, executive director for Doorfront Direct.  “We’re very excited about Madison, Wisconsin; Munster, Indiana; Omaha, St. Louis and the Quad Cities.”

“Delivering magazines through Doorfront Direct infuses revenue into our delivery operations, and carriers see a direct increase in their route income,” said Tim Ohnoutka, director of audience development for the Omaha World Herald.

“Our launch with Doorfront Direct went smoothly at all levels,” said Greg Parker, regional director of audience and operations for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.  He added, “From defining our delivery areas to the actual in-home delivery, everything went as planned.”

The new affiliates are properties of Lee Enterprises, which already delivers Doorfront Direct in other markets such as Richmond, Virginia; Roanoke, Virginia; Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

“Since we launched the program nearly six years ago, our affiliates have delivered more than 50 million publications,” said Brant, adding, “and we’re steadily adding new magazine titles and catalogs.”
